ball diameter

Hi, is the diameter of the ball same as one from HSA284 ? 6.4 mm

I bought a hub on eBay. A bit rough. One ball cage could do with replacing. The balls seem to be 3/16". The cage is about 41mm between the ball centresand across the inside of the ring, 45mm OD.

Hi the ball centres are 33mm and the out side diameter is 42mm - to small for your application unfortunately. Thanks

... and for a Brompton SA 3-Speed hub, are the left- and right-hand bearings identical?

The left is HSA284 and the right is HSA438. Inside the driver it also has a HSA284.
