This spare part is suitable for the price. But should be sold only axle separately

My Brompton freewheel sounds like a bag of spanners! Is this part the freewheel for the hub?

SJS Customer Service:

Hi,

This is part of the gear change of the BWR hub, the freewheeling section is part of the driver assembly which is SJSC part number 34759, it could however also be the gear ring assembly that you require which is SJSC part 34757.

Can I Buy Just The Axle As One Side On The Thread Is Damaged

Hi,

Unfortunately not, it is only available with the planet cage assembly pre-fitted and the axle for the BWR is unique so there is not a compatible alternative either I'm afraid.
