Sturmey Archer SC2 brake shoe HSH496

Hi When I replace the brake shoe (HSH496) in my sturmey Archer S2C hub do I need to use any special grease for the brake shoe (high melting point).

Hi there,

You should get away with using regular grease, but if you have a high melting point grease it will not do any harm.
