Excellent Lock Washer 13/32" HMW518 / SJSC 19112

ProsSolid, thick and strong. Excellent quality.
Needed to tension the chain by about 1/2" or so on my S/A three speed. Couldn't get any more travel in the dropout with the standard serrated lock washers (HMW155 / SJSC19102) fitted and removing two links from the chain was too much. Fitted these to both sides with the locking tab facing towards the open end of the dropout and it works perfectly, giving the extra amount of travel needed to tension the chain correctly. As already stated in one of the reviews "For me, the best solution 'anti rotation' washer. Fitted them to all my 3 and 5 speed gear hubs." Couldn't agree more, excellent.

For me, the best solution 'anti rotation' washer. Fitted them to all my 3 and 5 speed gear hubs. Slightly serrated for grip, but not too harsh on the dropout. It is fairly thick so can tolerate being tightened up to a fair old torque without being damaged or bent as can happen with thinner washers. This means you can better avoid wheel axle slip, the bane of horizontal dropouts.

key washer missing from one side of axle looking for a replacement, looks the same from the image, if it's not correct, do you have one to fit? Thanks
Hi,

This lock-washer is not one of the ones listed as a spare for your hub by Sturmey Archer so it would not be one that we'd recommend fitting. The correct ones (depending on the size you need are SJSC parts 2802 and 19102.
