Is this the right part for an early rider belter 20 from 7-8 years ago?

Sturmey Archer Pawl Spring - HSA450
I just wasted 18€ on Pawl Springs 23mm that are too small and too expensive to return. I did an entire day of research with AI and came to the conclusion that these pawl springs are the ones I need because Sturmey Archer worked with Early Rider in that time and this is what is used. Can you tell me the diameter of these Pawl Springs? I need to be certain I have a chance before I throw more money into a bike that fits none of my kids anymore.

Thank you for your enquiry. As best as can be measured this Pawl Spring has an inner diameter of 33.88mm but then the spring starts to expand.
