HI, I need a longer gear cable for my SA 3 speed hub as I've changed the bars and fitted a longer stem.
I have the plastic thumb shifter which connects via a small barrel on the end of the cable.
There is also a thin cylinder on the other end of the cable where it joins the adjustment mechanism.
Many thanks for your help.

I don't understand which cable I need for my 3 speed gears
My cable is 1420mm long and I need a cable conduit but what does 1570 and 759 - HSJ102 mean - is this the one?
Any thoughts?
Many thanks
Mike

bought a standard oxford cable set to replace but the barrel coonector supplied is a little small in diameter to connect. Which cable set do you think I need - shiter is 3 speed trigger type. The thread to connect onto is not attached to a chain, mpore like a pivot lever.

SOUNDS like you MAY have an old type Shimano 3 speed hub, can you clean it off and see or take photos and email [email protected] with your needs RT 10/12/19

I just received 19255 SA trigger cable and it differs from the one I am taking off. The outer wire has a nipple sticking out of one of the end ferrules and the inner wire end ferrule is longer and thinner. .

								SJS Customer Service:

This is too skinny, you need a standard gear inner.

									Hi,
Which cabling you need is dependant on how modern your shifter is, if you have a modern shifter then any standard gear cable will fit fine. If you have an older shifter you'll need this cabling (which you have left this question on), a connector and a standard gear cable to extend it.
Thanks.
