Speedhub 500/14 CC, Silver
Oil supplied but not fitted. The even increments of 13.6% from gear to gear make it possible to ride at the optimum cadence. The overall range ensure that you have the right gear in every situation. The SPEEDHUB 500/14 is operated by a twist shifter which shifts simply by pulling separate cables up or down. The indexing of the shifting lies not in the shifter as with common designs, but inside the hub. There is no wear on the indexing system nor need to adjust it. Cotains: 16 tooth sprocket - twist shifter - torque arm with holder - chain tensioner, cables with holders - 30 ml gear oil

Is This Available Here With The External Gear Mech?

If so, what is the price difference? The external gear mech option is mentioned on the Rohloff site as useful for long touring.

We don't currently stock the non-disc version with the external gear mech option, but we can order it in for you. The cost however as we have to order through Rohloff's UK distributor rather than Rohloff themselves like we do for these will work out more than the current price of our disc models, so it may be worth you going for one of the disc models even if you aren't running discs as they only come in the external gear mech fitting.
