My aged fingers were not up to easing that last bit of tyre over the rim, I was worried about a puncture out on the road. This product is small, lightweight and effective, and hasn't leaked into my pannier pocket where it stays for every ride.

Simply apply this to an edge of your tire as pictured, then pump your tire up and with ease tire beads will land in the correct place. Just listen for these tiny pops - tire beads moving.
This way your tire will be round at first attempt, and perfectly seated on your rim,

Only recently learned about the existence of this kind of items.
When googled tire paste, tire lubricant all sort of products popped out, though this is the best one for a bicycle tire.

***Mind you soapy water might lead to corrosion of aluminium rim***

I used this on Schwalbe One tubeless tyres and it works well. Easy to apply and then drys off after fitting. Makes it much easier to get the beading over the rim. Definitely worth using.

I bought Marathon plus tyres and after reading the reviews of they are hard to get on, I thought this a worthy addition to my basket. Usually these things are a swiz, but to be honest I didnt try to put them on without it, used it (with the spa cycles vid on you tube) and no issues what so ever tyre popped right on! I think ill even take this out with me, not just for home use.
