I recommend this product

Mounts easily in about 30 seconds onto a standard sized fork eyelet. I have an 1100 lumen light mounted upon it. Lights up the road well without blinding others around you as much as if you were to have it mounted at handlebar height. Highly recommended!

ProsThat is a simple solution that works well.

Was looking for way installing lights on a tour frame without putting any extra brackets on. The solution was this product that screws onto the frame where the bracket normally attached.
Having a longer Allen bolt on is very simply to install. I actually got one for the front and the back for my lights.

A slightly longer bolt with split/serrated washer may be more secure though one of these was bought for another bike with no problem.

ConsNeeds heavy handed tightening to stop it turning

ProsDoes the job nicely and frees up handlebar space for my hands

Just what I needed to mount a light on the front low-loader pannier bracket.
Had a bit of a problem getting it tight enough so it wouldn't slip round and I got a little paranoid about stripping the thread but got there in the end.
I may consider another for the wife's old tourer but I'll need to drill out the hole to fit her old fashioned fork light mount bracket bolt.

What is the weight of this item please?

Approx weight is 20g, we don't have any scales currently but it's very light!
