ConsFiddly to fit to Blackburn carrier
ProsRobust bracket
Fitted to Blackburn carrier using combination of spacers from v brake blocks allen bolts and lock nuts. Hoping to attach Andersen Easysnap trailer bracket which bolts to light bracket which is standard on Pletcher carriers. Did not want to change carrier as used for panniers and saddlebag.

Worked well to fit light to old Blackburn rack. Fiddly to fit, and clamps a bit awkward on thicker points of rack, but sound and steady once in place

ConsSmall nuts are a bit fiddly. Longer bolts would have helped.
ProsAllows light to be securely attached
Good secure product allowing me to attach a lamp to my Blackburn rack (on 25 year old Rayleigh Royal) which didn’t have a light plate.

ProsFixes a big design fault on Blackburn Expedition racks
Sorted out the problem of fitting a rear light to the Blackburn rack on my daughter's King of Mercia. Seems well made and was easy to fit.
It Solved My Problem With Dinamo Backlight :)

ConsAttaches the light at an angle.
ProsEnables installation of a rear light without a mounting point.
It did not fit completely on my rack. But my rack is also not a quality workmanship. The screws should be longer. But it solved my problem. And that is a big plus :)

Consslightly heavy
Prossturdy, adaptable, strong.
Unsure why I read these negative comments I found this to be "just the job" for my Canondale proprietary rear rack and whilst I'm aware it is meant for a different rack it was readily useable with the single hole available to me and a judicious cable tie.

It was straight and true and undamaged in transit Although I could have fashioned my own from hardware store parts I should say this was the preferable solution, if very slightly over engineered for the need (not the lightest bracket!).
