These piggyback spade connectors make it possible to attach a USB charger adapter directly to the dynamo hub. The spade connectors are 4.8mm so you need 4.8mm female connectors attached to the wires out of the charger device. It does mean two cables (light charger) running down one leg of your fork but once strapped in place with cable ties it stays in place. I stick electrical tape to the fork at the three locations where the cables are tied in place to avoid scuff marks on the fork. The only issue I had is the metal to metal spade connection on the USB charger has to be clean and tight (more so than for the front light) otherwise the charger doesn’t work (this is a feature of the charger and not a fault of the piggyback connector).

Buying in pairs makes these connectors quite expensive, the option to buy 6 or 10 should be available, not everyone wants 2 or 100.
