No alternative, unfortunately bad quality

I recommend this product

I purchased one of these together with a Son Edelux II light and hub dynamo wheel. It broke after a bit more than a year and I got a replacement. Now it broke again and I’m going to buy 3 since it just seems to last about 1.5 years each. Unfortunately there is no alternative…I even called Son in Germany who basically told me they couldn’t be bothered less to make a sturdier version with the same dimensions (so one can use certain Brompton bags on top of it). Said they cannot cater for everyone!

I recommend this product

I wanted a light bracket to fit under the straddle wire of a cantilever brake. By fitting this upside down (compared to how it fits on a Brompton) it does just that.

Stronger than other Brompton bracket

I’ve heard the standard bracket shears/ breaks regularly. Is this sturdier? Thanks very much

This is the same one Brompton use, we have heard from SON they have seen some shear, but we have no experience of this in hundreds of sales.

Needed for edelux 2 on BROMPTON ?

The Edelux 2 that fits is provided with a bracket but it is enough ? I mean this kit has some ther parts than the bracket

To fit to a Brompton you do need the recessed fork spacer.
