ProsNeat, bright, proper switch, comes with rear light cable, good bracket

You lose 30 lux (100 lux vs 70 lux is only half a stop and just discernible by eye) but you get a proper switch - the IQ-X soft switch is a source of problems - and a neater package. It's much better made than the cheaper plastic B&M lights and the DRL may be useful if you ride on busy roads.

Can I use this with Brompton as a straight headlamp swap

Hi,

will the IQ-XS fit a Brompton. My existing headlight (B&M Lyt N ) has broken (during servicing) and I am wondering if this would fit exactly a) into the same specific bracket and b) with the same wiring/connectors from the hub dynamo (standard factory one).

this will work, however, you will need to attach the connector cap to the wires before you can connect it to your hub. bracket height and wire lengths may be slightly different- so keep that in mind.

Yes it does, it has two male spades on a short cable for a rear light connection.
