A great idea in theory only

Welcome to the cycling equivalent of the inflatable dartboard. This product could work, but doesn't right now.

It consists of strong magnets attached to the wheel, and something magnetic in the light housing. The idea is to set up the two so they pass as close as possible without touching. In practice this is next to impossible because the magnetic attraction actually bends the steel bracket of the light.

Yes, I grant you that someone with very stiff wheels and the patience of a saint could make these work, but I could not stop the things hitting each other. My bike creaks enough without another noise-maker, so these go on the shelf for now.
