Can this be run upside down?

Unfortunately not, it is only meant to be positioned as shown due to the lense pattern..
Product # 39267 Can be ran upside down, this would be a suitable alternative.

Can I use this with a Sinewave Revolution?

Yes you can, but only when the light is not in use, the draw from the light unit will consume the full output from the dynamo. SK 16/10/23
