ProsLight mounting strap

Although the panniers appear well made, there is a serious problem with closing the top - despite having long straps with six holes, the buckles are sewn so high that even in the shortest hole, the flap has a large gap, effectively a tunnel from front to back, which the weather can pass through.

Kendall Pannier Weight Question

The Kendall's are listed at 760 grams...is this for the pair? That is considerably lighter than say, a pair of Super C Universal Front panniers, which are smaller, but are listed at 1,306 grams.
