Do the catches on the fixing system lock onto the rack or just hang on

SJS Customer Service:

The red section clips into place and requires the user to push down the top piece in order to remove it.

Kendall Pannier Weight Question

The Kendall's are listed at 760 grams...is this for the pair? That is considerably lighter than say, a pair of Super C Universal Front panniers, which are smaller, but are listed at 1,306 grams.
