Bought a second set of secure hooks for my Ortleib Classic Backrollers. Addding a second set is a cheap upgrade that improves stability of your panniers and also provides security, should one work loose and fall off during a tour. Reduces rattles and pannier movement - particularly on gravel. Its a simple and easy fix and as with all Ortleib kit, the products are great quality. There are other pannier systems on the market, but Ortleib are No.1 for a reason - excellent products. My order from SJS, arrived quickly and was very securely packaged. Price was fair and the service was excellent as always.

As will all the Ortlieb range their accessories did the job perfectly and fully adjustable. Bought a new electric bike (Dutch Gazelle 380) with an unusual square profile rear rack. With the lower anchor point it helped me get over the issue.

recently purchased Ortlieb's QL1/QL2/QL2. 1 Lower Anchoring Hook inc. Mounting Screws, and I couldn't be happier. The installation was straight forward and easy. The screws thread into the anchoring hook nicely. HOWEVER hook is NOT strong enough to hold my gear, especially, if you have larger sizes that need security when used properly. I HAVE had to worry about them coming undone or getting tangled in the bottom of a wheel or lost. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable way to safely secure their gear. HOWEVER, order ample as a reserve, as the bags are not robust enough for long hall touring! I cycled to Sicily a few months ago and lost three out of four clips. I would buy another brand!

These are easy to fit. I now have two on each panier which makes a much more secure fit. We discovered they also fit the Halfords waterproof advanced pannier so my son bought some for his panniers too.

I always fit extra hooks to my panniers for extra stability. These can be added to an Ortlieb bag in a couple of minutes without needed any tools and in return totally stop any bag flap or sway (one per bag is just not enough).

Bonus, it also helps me quickly tell which it the right-hand/left-hand bag when they're off the bike - which is useful with otherwise identical panniers
