Many e-bike owners are well-acquainted with this problem: bags and baskets that can't be attached to the handlebar because the e-bike display is in the middle of the handlebar. The Ortlieb E-Bike Mounting Set comes to your assistance without forcing you to relocate the display. The lockable adapter is mounted to the handlebars with the proven cable fastener. This gives you a theft-proof way of attaching your Ortlieb handlebar bags and baskets despite the display. The fastener is made for attachments of up to 5kg.

Holds the Ultimate 6 bag well. Lock is useful.

ProsEasy fitting, lockable, easy to clip bag on and off, good solid feel to it!

My electric bike is fitted with a fair bit of 'luggage' - panniers, bottle cages, trunk bag, etc - but the computer system took up the central place on the handlebars. For those who want a handlebar bag but can't fit on because of the computer connection then this is the answer. It mounts on the front of the handlebar in front of the computer and fastens with the usual wire and screw system. It's easy to fit, does exactly what Ortlieb maintain and it comes with a lock to secure it to the mount. All in all, a delightful piece of equipment. But this is what Ortlieb is about.

Ortlieb E Bike Handlebar Mounting Set - 77mm wide computer brackets?

Mt Mark2 E-Bike has a computer display with brackets on the handlebar measuring 77mm (outside of the brackets).
The Ortlieb instructions state 73mm max. Can the Ortlieb handlebar mount be adjusted to fit across 77mm computer mount brackets? Alternatively, can you recommend an alternative method to mount a handlebar bag - eg Ortlieb Ultimate Six Classic Bar Bag

Ortlieb Compact 6 bar bag

I already have the old mounting system on two of my bikes and was hoping to buy a new bar bag but l don’t believe that the new bar bags will clip into the old mounts. Any advice and do you have any of the old style bags left to buy? Thanks.
