Wire cable to which a lock can be added to secure panniers. Suitable for Front Roller, Mini Biker & Sport Packer panniers with the QL2 & QL2.1 fitting system.
This device is a deterent & fixes to the top rail of the pannier to stop theives taking the panniers off the rack.

Length of Cable - 265mm (approx)

NOTE: This device cannot be used on panniers etc with the QL1 fitting system.

Basic, not very secure

ConsNot much better than nothing.

ProsBetter than nothing.

These let you lock the bag to the rack, but don't protect the contents. They're also only really suitable against the most casual opportunistic thief, as the cable is very thin, and is anchored only into plastic parts, so I'm sure it could be ripped/broken with a bit of force. Also quite fiddly to fit, and short, limiting where you can put the lock through them and your frame/wheel/etc. On the plus side, when retracted they aren't in the way, don't get tangled, and are very light weight.
