Places bag further forwards. Extension adapter for all Ortlieb Ultimate 4, 5 and 6 Handlebar Bags. Enables the standard mount to fit onto bars with unusual bends or when it is desired to have the bag further away from the bars.
Wire length : (100cm aprox.)

Great product. Fits easily and solidly on to the bar. I purchased the extension block because I have a drop bar touring bike with a second set of top bar break levers and needed the extra room for reach. Works a treat.

ProsIt does what it needs to do.

This Ortleib extension block is a perfect fit for my Classic 6 bar bag. It's not just for 4 and 5 bags, no fettling or forcing needed. I have treking bars on my bike and an extesion is necessary to give clearance for a bar bag.

This product enabled me to attach my Ortlieb bar bag to my On One Mary Bar. I had to file the plastic slightly for a good fit but this was no hardship. The plastic is substantial enough to allow for this. Attaches securely and not quickly removed. This can be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for. I am very happy with product.

Re Ortlieb front bag fixing. I just bought from you the main mount and it came with a pale grey wire cable to fit it. That looks poor on a black bike. I now need the extension piece and want a black cable. Cab you confirm the cable colour pleas? Thanks.

Can I fit this to a Jones H bar?

I am replacing my current touring bike with a bike fitted with a Jones h bar and wondered whether it is possible to fit my current Ortlieb Ultimate 6 bar bag to the Jones bar. If so, I wonder what attachments I will require.

You would be able to just bolt it to the front of the bars, the diameter is 22.2mm so you need to check you have the correct shims for this.

How many centimetres does it allow to gain and would it be suitable with Rolhoff gear change as well as shimano rapid fire shifters

This adds 5cm to the bracket system. This would be indifferent to work with any shifters in particular, it will depend on your personal set up.

Will The Cable From The Ult. 6 Proe Fit With Extension Block Oe165?

Hi, It is not clear that the extension block OE165 allows for the power cable that is connected to the Ult. 6 PROE handle bar bag mount?

I'm afraid this extension block won't work with the Pro E mounting bracket as the cable is not able to pass through.
