Can I use this on a carbon seatpost

we have not found anything to suggest that you could use it with a carbon Seatpost so therefore we would advise against it.

Altering Angle Of Fitting...

Hi, I have an Altura Arran expanding post bag which, as you'll know, fits using a Rixen and Kaul klickfix system. Unfortunately, due to the angle the bag frame sits at when fitted, the bottom of the bag touches the rear tyre, and I can't move the fitting any further up the seatpost. Would this adapter help (i.e. by altering the angle)? Thanks.

Unfortunately not, the part you have left your question on is for converting a handlebar bag to seatpost fitting. Your Altura bag, uses a different fitting than what this system is designed for. Unfortunately there is no adapter as far as I'm aware that will be suitable for what you're looking for.
