The Hydro is the same basic design as the MondoPack XL but features an external water bottle pocket in place of the expandable main compartment. Carries extra water for extended trips or serves as storage for your lightweight jacket as the weather changes.

ProsBrand, cost, size, usefulness.

I wanted a saddle bag that would also carry a water bottle and this product from Topeak seems perfect! It fits a standard water bottle in its own, snug mesh pocket at the top rear of the pack which is easy to reach. It also has good inner storage for a pump, inner tube, multi tool, keys, patch kit, food and a small camera, or, in my case, my iPhone. Could be a perfect day ride pack as well, depending what you want to carry.
