I recommend this product

Perfect match for mudguards. Make sure you buy matching size. For full non-rattle security I recommend fitting 2 no. on the front and at least one on the back, with the BB and bridge also secured. Requires tools and workshop skills to fit. Bit pricey but they will probably last forever.

What gauge (thickness) is the steel?

I'm looking to match these with eyelet bolts. Would they fit through your part #49885?

Hi, these stay wires are 5 mm in diameter. The Weldtite Eyelet bolts have 4 mm holes. They will not fit. Thanks.

How do I measure my fenders to determine which stay I should purchase? Edge to edge?

How long are the stays

How long are the stays? I need stays a bit longer then 40 cm end to end due to braze on placement in the rear of the frame.

These are 42cm from end to the inside of the top loop that attaches to the mudguard.

Do You Think These Would Be Compatible With Salmon Mudguards

As we don't sell Salmon mudguards we would never have tried to fit these stays with those guards so unfortunately don't have any idea if these would be compatible or not. From an internet search of Salmon mudguards it looks as though it may be possible, but we don't have any way of knowing for sure I'm afraid.
