Details

M5 is the size for bottle cages and rack fittings and most other applications.

Made from Grade A4 (AISI 316) stainless steel. Grade A4 is an Austenitic grade of stainless steel. It has a higher corrosion resistance than A2 grade in many chemical environments, including contact with dilute sulphuric acid, and acetic acid over a wide range of temperature and concentrations. Resistance to atmospheric staining and pitting in industrial and urban areas, and also is suitable for marine conditions.
Standard pitch 0.8mm

Great quality bolts, it is good that you can buy these in a small quantity, just enough for my project with a couple leftover for spares.

Will these be suitable for a grx front disc caliper

Hi

I have a columbus fork on my tripster, and I can change the rake on them. However to do so you need to put a couple of spacers on the caliper and the current bolts are then to short. I was wondering if these bolts would be suitable to hold the caliper in place.

Hi, if you are only securing the top cap then yes. For any other stem bolt you should be using high tensile steel as failure can be catastrophic! Thanks

Tubus Locc Pannier Rack Replacement Bottom Bolt

Hello, According to the instructions for the Tubus Locc rear rack, I need stainless steel M5 x 18mm bolts for the bottom fastening near the derailleur.

Do you stock M5 x 18mm? If not, would the 20mm be okay? I use the spacer discs on either side with my frame. Also, are the 20mm bolts fully threaded? Thank you kindly, John

We stock 16mm and 20mm, the 20mm should be fine with 2 1mm spacers. The bolts, as per the photo, are not fully threaded.

What is the threaded length of the 40 and 50 mm bolts?

is a 60mm bolt the length of the bolt including or excluding the socket head.

The 60mm is the length not including the bolt head. On the 60mm option there is only 23mm of thread the rest is just smooth.
