This is my third Brooks B17 narrow saddle, I have them on all my bikes. Saddle molds to you, my saddles took approximately 500 miles mold to me and become very comfortable. Having said that the Saddle was never uncomfortable when new. In testament to the saddle I completed Land End to John O'Groats this year 1,012 miles 62,050 feet climbed. The saddle very comfortable no problems just what you need when you spend all day in the saddle

I bought the B17 Narrow because my B17 Standard causes slight chaffing on the inside of my thighs. My saddle measured 150 mm wide x 280 mm long which agrees with the Brooks web site. The saddle is noticeably narrower than the standard version so I don't expect any chaffing, but after only 200 km is nowhere near broken in so I don't know if the long term sitting comfort will become as good as the standard (which has now done 4500 km) ......
Ease of use set down to 3 stars due to the need to treat with Proofide, to protect the leather from rain, and the longish time needed to break in and get best comfort.
