Bought this to try it on a non-MKS pedal fits fine. Now I can have grease on my pedal bearings rather than grit and water.

Will the MKS 'Sylvan' pedal caps also fit the MKS AR-1 pedals manufactured by SKS circa 1970-82?

Hi, sorry we can't confirm this. We don't have a set of early MKS AR-1 pedals to try. You could buy a set and return them if they don't fit. You would only lose the postage costs. Thanks

Hi, unfortunately the dust cover is made of plastic and the threads are not very well defined. It looks like imperial 7/8 (in metric that is 21mm which is unlikely for a thread size). Thanks 09/04/2020
