Quite don't know why but discovered one day when I needed it my pump didn't pump. After all, after its predecessor was stolen, it spent its life in my rucksack. Fortunately it occurred at home so wasn't a big problem.

A internet search revealed that repair kits are available and, including postage, the cheapest was from SJS cycles - who says eBay is always cheap. So I duly placed an order, and although there was no rush happy to report it arrived very quickly. Replacing the pump was easy, although comparing old with new struggled to see what the problem was, and it was soon returned to my rucksack.

For me the moral of the story is to regularly test my pumps. Failure at home is one thing, failure on the roadside another. Oh yes, support SJS cycles. For this is not the first time that had something no one else had.
