what's the difference b/t this and the R500? Gravel bike, 50kg rider

Same price, very similar specs - any advantage to one or the other?

The R500 is 22mm internal over the R460 at 18mm internal.

Spoke Compatibilty

DT Swiss list a couple of their own spokes as compatible with this rim (e.g. DT Swiss competition, DT Swiss aerolite), does that mean that this rim should be used exclusively with the ones listed?

DT swiss probably recommend using those spokes as they are their wheels, however this does not mean that those spokes are the only ones that can be used with this rim.
