These are like Mavic MA3 rims from the 80s

I recommend this product

Old style single wall polished alloy rims. They don't have eyelets, but they are perfect for 70s/80s 531 frame touring bikes. These rims take 25c tyres comfortably - and will probably go up to 38c if you want heavy tyres. SJS built these on to a pair of LX hubs for me, and they are really nice wheels.

What tyre sizes are recommended for use with this rim?

Hi,

This rim has an internal width of 17.5mm and an external width of 22.3mm. I'd recommend using tyres between 28mm and 48mm.
