Jtek Rim Tape 349 x 18 mm

Having read the reviews for this and Brompton's own more expensive product I opted for this despite its stated use for double wall rims (mine are the older single wall type). This may be why I struggled to fit the over-tight tape despite gentle warming and pre-stretching.
It's on now but very tight and for this reason hard to centralise.

Having had a puncture from the factory fitted rim tape shifting and partially uncovering a spoke hole in the rim I thought I'd try the jtek version. It's good quality and a snug fit in the well of the rim, so hopefully it will do the job well.

Rim tape fits beautifully with no gaps and the valve hole is large enough for a schrader valve. Can be used on a Brompton wheel with confidence.

Far far better than Brompton's standard rim tape which is appalling!

Good quality and very easy to apply! It was my first time using this tape - took me less than a minute! Slight need to stretch when applying due to the fact is connected (glued) both ends. It is not sticky, but stays firm on the wheel.
