Not working for me with recommended spokes of 238mm

ConsNot for use with 238mm Rohloff Sapim spokes from SJS

The rim is great! David's link to dcrwheels posted as a review in 2012 seems to link to the wrong page, the correct one is https://dcrwheels.co.uk/custom-wheelsets/building-with-a-rohloff-hub/ - however ... main issue is that building 2 cross on the 32 hole Rohloff speedhub leaves porcupine-like spoke ends poking out of the rim. I suspect a better length would be 234 were that to be available. I thought the rim was undersized after starting to tension so tried with a second rim, a Matrix MTB rim from an old trek mountain bike with 26" wheels, but still found the spokes too long. Can't see how anyone could use this length of spoke but it is 100% conformant with the manual page (42) in the Rohloff user manual so stumped.

ProsBest rim on the market for Rohloff

This is sadly no longer formerly imported into the country. However SJS are clearly still able to get hold of some. It is a fantastic product for any Rohloff builds, extending the life of the spoke by preserving the angle. Please note you should build with this in a particular way. For details see here:
