I always use this spoke tape as it's really tough and stops any possible punctures at the spoke holes.
Price from SJS is probably the best on the net and I prefer to support the independent business rather than lining the pockets of the "suits" at large Internet auction sites and other large merchant hosting sites.

Really nice quality and very tough plastic. Ideal for protecting your tube from spoke damage when your wheel rims are single wall.

Perfect. Replaced floppy rubber tape that was causing ballooning of tube into spoke holes. Not sure why original bike manufacturers didn't think of this. Clicked into place in rim perfectly.

Bought these to go in a pair of new wheels, and cannot fault them. Have never bought or used rim tape before but couldn't really go wrong.
There were some useful tips from another user about starting out by fitting an old inner tube through the valve hole to hold it in place, and looping a piece of string under the tape so you can centralise it once it is fitted.
