The third important factor, besides tyre and tube, for puncture protection. The rim tape protects the tube against mechanical damage, for example from spoke heads and metal burrs around the spoke holes.

Is this tape closed ended

Cloth tape wont stick to my rims. Is this tape closed ended and elasticated enough to fit to 700c Mavic A119 rims? Thanks

Rim Tape Width, what size to choose?

I have Mavic A319 rims which are 25mm wide (outside) dimension. I have just purchased Schwalbe tyres from you and the instructions say the rim tape should fit full width. What size of rim tape should I order to achieve full width. Thank you.
