This rim is drilled for Presta valves but we can drill them out for Schrader valves upon request.

ConsA little pricey for the size and quality, but I guess thats the scarcity value
ProsDecent rim in a hard to find rim size
Used these to build onto old Kingpin hubs and improve braking. No problems and look good.

Hi, they can be drilled for schrader. However the angled profile is not very nice for this. Please contact us via [email protected] to arrange this.

Can I use 22 inch BMX tires on these rims?

The rims are 451 and 22 inch BMX wheels are 457. That's pretty close! Is there any reason the combination shouldn't work?

457mm tyres will not sit on the rims and with even a low pressure will blow off the rims.
We do NOT recommend using anything but the correct size.

Rims and spokes for Raleigh Shopper

I want to upgrade the front wheels of a couple of 19702 Raleigh Shoppers from the chrome originals to alloy to improve the braking.

I guess your Sun CR18 20" 451 ABT Rim - Polished Silver - 28 Hole will work.

However, I'm not sure what spokes I will need. One wheel has a dyno hub.

The spokes on the non-dyno side measure 220mm.

The short spokes on the dyno side measure 195mm

The pitch circle diameter (PCD) of the spoke holes on the dyno hub is 102mm.

The PCD of the spoke holes on the standard hub is 43mm.

Could you advise.
We cannot confirm spoke lengths unless we sell both hub and rim,
