The B17 is Brooks' flagship model, ideal for long distance sports touring, trekking and ATB use. It has been on the market for over 100 years, being featured in as early as the 1898 catalogue. The model is available for gents and ladies: B17 (gents) and B17 S (ladies).

ProsVery comfortable, durable
I have had this saddle on my Thorn Raven now for 7 years. Without doubt the most comfortable saddle I have ever had. No need for padded shorts! I cycle up to 85 miles a day without having to stand up on the pedals to relieve pressure! The leather gives and slowly moulds to you (if you find it uncomfortable at first - persevere - this is all part of the moulding process)

ProsComfortable, long lasting, easy to fit
Just fitted my third B17 saddle - wonderful. I have resisted having one on my carbon bike, but as they say - have tried the rest, now try the best! I can't fault these saddles - never given me any pain or problem from the first ride. Beautifully made - only niggle is the need to protect from rain while in the cafe!

Can I use this with bromptons? I know Brompton has the brown one, but want a black one.
