Custom machined alloy sleeve to space a 27.2mm seatpost to larger seat tube diameters. These shims are 100mm long ensure that the post is gripped properly.
Select the size of shim you need in the drop down menu. Be sure to measure you seat tube diameter first as measuring means you get the right one.

ProsGreat fit

Bought this shim to transfer Thudbuster seatpost from my touring bike ,27.2 diameter, to my e bike, 31.6 diameter, perfect. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

could'nt find a post of the correct diameter for my frame so reluctantly went for a narrower post and suitable shim.

ProsWell made and a decent length.

I was having trouble locating a dropper post to fit my 2004 Santa Cruz bullit. The 28.6mm to 27.2mm shim allowed me to fit the 27.2mm Branx X Ascend II. The shim is precisioned machined so the fit is perfect, nice black anodising on it too. The length, which I think is about 4 inches, gives a decent amount of support so the post isn't going anywhere. I'm extremely happy with it.

My Dutch bike off ebay had a spongy cheap suspension set post. Buying this allowed me to buy a new solid post in the style I wanted and still know it would fit on my odd sized seat tube. Very well made and a lot cheaper than some.

For this you would require a shim which takes up 12mm of play. Unfortunately we do not stock this specific fitting to suit.
