For use with QSTSLV-REAMKIT only, where the sleeve can be reamed in situ after glueing. Special glue (QGLUESS) needed for fitting. One sleeve is for use with slotted tube, one for unslotted tube.

ProsHigh quality part.
This is a non reamed part. I managed to ream it with an Commercial adjustable reamer of the appropriate size. I adjusted it to get the required sliding fit. I can now catch a train without coaxing the saddle into position.

Where Is The Pre-Reamed Version?

So what happened to the pre-reamed version part 2930, which hasn't been available on your shop for months?

Is the non-reamed version that complicated to ream in an amateur type backshop?

Hi,

For some reason unknown to us, Brompton is no longer producing the pre-reamed versions of these. The reaming requires quite specific tooling, but it may still be possible to undertake yourself. We only have experience using Brompton's own tool though I'm afraid.
