What Does Reamed Mean? What Is The Difference With 2930
15 May 2014
What does reamed mean, and what is the difference with this and part number 2930. I have a 2008 brompton, would this part be suitabel or do i have to use 2930?
SJS Customer Service:

The non-reamed version tends to only be used in workshop situations where they have the correct tooling. The pre-reamed version part 2930 is the one to be used for home fitting as it requires no special tools, it only requires a small amount of glue.

Is This The Correct Part For A 32Mm Dia Seat Post?
21 Nov 2013
My Brompton seat post is 32mm dia whilst the frame hole is approximately 34.5mm dia. Is this the correct part?
Many thanks for your help.

SJS Customer Service:

These ones have actually been discontinued, the replacement ones you need are SJSC part number 2930.
