ConsA bit expensive

ProsFast and easy

This is the way to convert your Hope quick release clamp to a bolt on clamp. It's a bit expensive considering it's only a bolt and a nut, but you don't need to buy a new clamp, which is more expensive.

Is This Suitable For A Vintage Bike?

Diameter on hole of seat-post clasp is 7mm, is this suitable?

Hi,

This item will not be suitable I'm afraid. This is designed for use with Hope's own removable seat clamps rather than traditional style integrated frames. All of the traditional style bolts we have have an outer diameter of 8mm so I can't recommend anything else either I'm afraid.
