- Internal oval cross-section to improve strength/weight ratio

ProsGood quality, easy to adjust and not too heavy.

Had a spare Brookes B17 laying around which I decided to fit to my trusty Dawes One-Down.
The Dawes is a bit on the small side to start with. Coupled with the very forward position of the Brookes, and a seat-post with limited layback, resulted in a distinctly awkward riding position
This seat-post gives all the extra layback that is required to give a comfortable riding position when using the Brookes B17
Good quality, easy to adjust and not too heavy.

Fitting to Sherpa

Will this fit a Thorn Sherpa frame (brought in 2021) or can you recommend a shim to make it fit? Also how much longer is the layback than the standard Thorn seatpost?

Does Jtek make this seatpost in 26.8mm?
