ProsGrip & adjustment of saddle angle
With a Brooks saddle, my previous seat post was not able to hold the saddle angle. Over 2 or 3 weeks it would slowly tilt backwards. My bike mechanic advised a double screw adjustable clamp. This one from SJS has been perfect. It allows for much more precise adjustment of the saddle angle and there has been to movement whatsoever.

Proslight and easy to install
immediately noticed that my Brooks saddle was further back and my sit-bones were in the proper place thanks to this layback seatpost. Installation was a breeze and I really like the adjustment mechanism to get the saddle to the desired level. No issues with the saddle moving, the mounting bolts need to be torqued to 8Nm to be stable. Great product SJS cycles

Definitely made a difference when out and about due to being able to adjust the seat to it’s maximum position, and also the extra setback on the seat post is a must for the taller person ??

ProsPractical and aesthetic
I seriously recommend this awesome seat post, beautiful finish, I recently build a new bike, and the position was just a bit cramped, so the lay back seat post did the trick. It is truly the nicest lay back out there. Not just practical, the look is just awesome, adds a bit of a stylish line to the geometry. Really love it!

What an absolutely superb seatpost. Setting the saddle up on this post is a delight. I wish they had other diameters. I am well happy.

Prosvery adjusable, nice finish, looks smart
This long lay back seat post was ideal to increase the reach on my Cube cyclo cross bike which was a little too cramped. It enabled me to mirror the position on my other bike. Its a nicely engineered post with a beautiful finish. Two bolt fixing makes it easy to get the saddle positioned both level and fore and aft. It was delivered promptly and was well packed.

ProsEasy adjustment / Plenty of Layback
This is an excellent seatpost ideal for Brooks saddles and much easier to adjust the angle than any other seatpost I've owned. I'll be buying another shortly.

ProsEasy adjustment / Layback
30mm offset/layback - Ideal for getting my Brooks Team Pro further behind the BB as my preference. Great design allows easy saddle fitting and angle adjustment compared to many other posts I have tried. Internally the post shaft has been machined on the sides to reduce weight, whilst keeping the extra material at the front and back for strength. Great Value.

Wondering on how far out ( upwards) this post goes before it goes back?
I generally only have around 2cm of the post out ( basically at the lowest position).
Would this be possible with this post ?
