Perfect fit for my 5 speed hub. Nice balance between easy gearing for hills and still plenty fast enough going down.

ConsLose bit top speed
ProsImproves hill climbing
Fitted to Sturmey AG Hub (3speed and dyno combined). Sturmey 3 speeds tend to be geared bit high if you live in hilly area. Going to 22 tooth improved hill climbing. Now got 1st for steep hills, 2nd for slight hills, 3rd smooth flat.
Was easy to fit.

Consdepends on bike - can be time consuming

Changed from 19T to 22T on old Dutch Bike can now go up (gentle) hills!
Swapping sprocket simple but removing and replacing wheel on this bike is time consuming.

I recommend this product
Just like a 19 tooth sprocket, but it has 22 teeth. If you want to drop the gearing a bit to make things a bit easier this will do the job, but you may have to add some length to the chain and alter the cable a bit. Not much more to say.

ConsNobody else can see how clever you are
ProsCheap, easy fitting, transforms gearing
Swapping the 20T sprocket on my Pashley Roadster Sovereign for this 22T was an easy task, and has completely transformed the gearing, giving better climbing and cadence all the time. Strongly recommended unless you spend all your time coasting majestically down hills.

Hi, will this sprocket fit the driver assembly of a SRAM Automatix hub?
Hi,

Although we don't know how similar the dishing of the sprockets is the actual fitting is the same so you can definitely fit these to your Sram hub.

Thanks.

Hi, thank you for answer. Will there be any available 22T sprockets compatible for Sturmey Archer RX-RD5?
Hi, at this moment time the supplier only has 17T to 20T options available on their system, they currently do not have any further information for anything larger I'm afraid. Regards
