Delta Ahead Black Stem Raiser For 1 1/8 Inch To 1 1/8 Inch

I recommend this product
ConsIntroduces some minor flex during heavy brakeing due to leverage, as always could be a bit cheaper
ProsWell-made, my back feel waaay better,
Have it fitted to my OnOne carbon fork on a OnOne Scandal 29er frame to use for commuting. Does what it says it does and raises the stem height and therefore my handle. Feels solid where it joins to stem. You'll need a long allen key to tighten the centre bolt to the star nut in the stem. Otherwise kind of idiot proof to fit. It does allow you to feel the flex in the fork due to leverage when brakeing but other than that, no other issues. Happy!

Well-made, good quality and easy to fit. Having used it for a few weeks I can truly say by raising my drop handlebar has made all the difference to my riding experience.

Length of steerer needed
By

Hello. Can you please tell me what min length of steerer tube would be needed to safely accommodate this riser? Thanks
HI there,

You would need approximately 45mm.

Thanks.
Can I use with. 1” stem - with a shim?
By

I do mean 1” A head, not Quill 1 inch stem.
Yes, but we would recommend that the shim is as long as it can be to give the maximum surface area interface.

Thanks
