ProsSimply does the job

I needed to convert my hybrid bike to a 1" threaded fork as 1" ahead suspension forks don't seem to exist anymore.
This adaptor worked perfectly in that I've been able to re-use the existing stem and handlebars - perfect!

Damaged threads on fork steerer.

The threads are damaged on my vintage " threaded fork steerer preventing full adjustment of headset. Could this device be used with say a threadless headset to overcome the problem and enable me to continue using exiting fork? or are there other possibly ways to use the existing quill stem to retain the authentic look?

Thank for your enquiry, this item converts to ahead so you will need a new replacement stem however if instance you would still need new forks due to thread damage.

What is length measurement from the top cap till the bottom of the wedge?
