A bit of a shame they don't come in chrome... none the less it does exactly what is says on the tin. It arrived when stated, well packaged and undamaged. Raising the quill stem and combining with some Mary style bars, has given me the upright riding position I wanted for my beater. I will be using SJS more in the future. Many thanks!

Handy bit a kit if a more upright body profile is desired when cycling

On holiday I was persuaded by a friend to try and ride his bike. After not being on a bike for more than 50 years I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. On return I purchased a bicycle and am enjoying the local cycle paths and byways
The only problem was leaning forward to reach the handlebars. After much research I purchased the quill extension form CJS cycles, this gives me a more upright position and greatly improves both comfort and vision.
The service from CJS was excellent with a very quick delivery and the product is a good value quality product.
Fitting requires a long reach Allen or better still a hex T bar.
Although I only have limited experience with CJS based on my order I would not hesitate to use the again and would recommend them for any cycling requirements.

Following a hip replacement I needed to raise the bars on the bike I use on my Tacx Ironman smart trainer. This has done the job perfectly. You just need a very long allen key to tighten the bolt.
