ConsLess effective than Kool Stop tyre bead jack

ProsSmaller and more portable than the Kool Stop tyre bead jack

After a session destroying my thumbs installing some GP5000s I bought one of these to try out. Re-seating the tyre wasn't as simple as what I'd seen in YouTube videos, and I needed to use my other hand to help push the bead over the rim else the tool wouldn't budge. Unlike the KoolStop - which is amazing - I wouldn't rely on this 100% but when it does work your thumbs will thank you.

As a tyre lever it's more effective twinned with a second lever (like the Park Tool TL1.2C), which helps get the first part of the tyre over the rim.

A good tool to get difficult tyres off and on when the dreaded puncture happens. it is light in weight so not a problem on long Audax or shorter commute rides. SJS is a good shop and I have always been happy with the delivery time and price
