Prosworks for all crank arm bolts and the larger diameter BBshells

having struggled to undo the crank arm fixing bolt with some other tools (and over tightening leading to bolt flange failure), this one makes it easy, it also makes torquing up the BB more manageable as you can put an 8mm head on your torque wrench.
it is difficult to put in the insert for ultegra and dura ace BB's so I am still using the other tool for those.

Hi,

Am I correct to assume that the tool has two uses? First, one side removes the cap on the non-drive side, Hollowtech ii crank arm? Second, the larger side fits round the external bearing cups of a threaded Hollowtech ii bottom bracket?

So will this tool work for a Shimano 105 7000 crank? I am not certain, but I think the bike I want to buy uses a Shimano BB-RS500 bottom bracket.

Hello, this tool is designed is to remove/ install the crank arm fixing bolt as well as install/ remove an external Shimano Hollow Tec 2 BB. This will work on the BB-rs500.

Hi no this is a HollowTech bottom bracket tool. It's designed to grip the outer edge of the bottom bracket cup so that you can unscrew it. There are various other tools available for press fit bottom brackets. Our parts 27329 and 24901 are examples. Thanks.
