This small chain tool goes anywhere and actually performs like a shop quality tool. The fine thread, special V- shaped handle, and super strong replaceable pin make chain removal and installation a breeze.

- Compatible with 3/32" 5 to 12-speed derailleur chains and Campagnolo 13-speed derailleur chain
- Shelf for loosening tight links.
- Perfect take-along chain tool at only 77 grams.
- Dimensions: 60mm x 55mm x 15mm.

*The CT-5 will not peen Campagnolo® 11, 12 or 13 speed chain rivets (see CT-4.3 or CT-6.3)

This is my second one. The first I brought in 2007. The only reason for no 2 is I lost no 1!

It’s small & light enough to tour, fits lot’s of chane sizes&zidovudine the usual Park quality

Can I use it with single speed chains

Looking for a sturdy chain splitter that I can carry for emergency use on my single speed and other bikes
Hi there,

These are not ideal with single speed chains, you can make it work, but it is not the correct tool for the job. The only listed SS tool is SJS Cycles part number : 31299
