The ROHLOFF HG Check is fitted with a section of Shimano 10 speed
chain and as such, is suitable for up to max. 12-speed cassettes only.

Rohloff developed the HG Check tool to be able to quickly determine the condition of Shimano HG cassette sprockets. The tool will indicate when the cogs are on the verge of being too worn out, therefore preventing chain skipping. Cassette cogs should be checked before long trips or before replacing a chain to determine if the new chain will skip on the old cogs.

Consonly works on 10-12 speed as it uses the appropriate narrow chains.

Proscheap, simple to use once you have worked it out

I have always found sprocket wear difficult to judge. The leaflet gives helpful information. It is a simple tool designed to help you judge excessive sprocket wear, though not sophisticated. As yet I have not found a worn sprocket in any of my several bikes!

Can I use this with a Shimano 11 speed cassette and sprocket size up to 34t?

I thought HG-IG meant 8 and 9 speeds only.
